I should have added in my previous post concerning GLP Wren that I have
obtained a copy of Ellen Wren application for a Confederate pension for
service by GLP Wren from the state of LA. I obtained copies of obituaries
for Ellen Wren and her son, Floyd Carr Wren through RootsWeb.com. Both have
additional information which is helpful.

Need full names, d/o/b and d/o/d on children of George Lovich Pierce Wren
and
Ellen M. Carr, who lived at Minden, LA. Have information from obituaries
listing 4 children, P.L. Wren, M.D. Wren, Ava Gertrude Wren and Floyd Carr
Wren.
Were there others?
I found a Spencer Wren and Marcus D. Wren, sons of Mrs. Ava Wren listed as
serving in WW11 from Webster Parish, LA. Who was their father?
I did not find G.L.P. Wren and family on the 1880 census anywhere. Where
were they living at that time, or were they just skipped on the census? I
have
found records on G.L.P. Wren up until 1892, but no death record. Hope you
can
help me out.
