Dear Karen Black;
I totally agree with you . I am researching WRIGHTs in
Ontario who apparently came from IRELAND ( prior to
1800)and perhaps via England ( and perhaps via South
Africa). My Great-great-grandfather was CHARLES WRIGHT
born ca.1810 in ONTARIO. He apparently often spoke of
COUSINS in the U.S.
I have also been in contact with ANN TURNER (
) who has WRIGHTS born in IRELAND and
travelled to CANADA via ENGLAND and SOUTH AFRICA.
We are presently expanding our search. I have written to
a Major named WRIGHT in the British army who has a Given
name of DEDERICK which was the maiden name of my
Great-Great-Grandmother MARY ANN WRIGHT ( nee MARY ANN
DEDERICK).born 1828 in W.CANADA.
