Hi Cousins,

I have been searching for a long time for information on my g-grandmother
Amelia Wright. Today I went to Oklahoma City and searched the census
records. I found two that fit. Is there anyone out there that could tell
me about either one of these?

I found in the 1870 Census an Amalia Wright age 12, born in Arkansas and at
that time was living in Lafayette County, Arkansas. I feel like this is my
g-grandmother because of her age and location. I am told that she went back
and forth between Cass County, Texas and her home in Arkansas. I don't know
where her home was in Arkansas but Lafayette County is real close to Cass
County, Texas. I should have tried for more information but I just got her
name and not her family

I found in the 1880 Census for Arkansas this Wright family. If it's not my
family perhaps someone else can use this information.

Prairie County - Arkansas

John M Wright - Male - Father - age 47 - born in Arkansas

I believe that one of these Amelias married my g-grandfather John Marion
Judge Penny in Arkansas and that in 1882 they had my grandmother Fannie
Penny in Arkansas.

Please let me know if you know anything about either one of these.
