I hope I can help you on your quest for information on your Charles Wright.
Do you know his father's name or place of birth?

The reason I ask is because I don't see many "Charles", and I am tracking down
my own. It's probably a long shot, but maybe there's a chance of linking
ours? If you'd don't mind sharing information you may have on his parents,
I'd be interested.

My Charles: born ~1840-1842, possibly in Schoharie Co, NY; don't know when
died, but he lived in Grand Traverse Co, MI, in 1876, then was divorced by his
wife Mary Ann, Sep 1886, in Kalkaska Co, MI. They had one son, Clarence.
(Another unusual Wright name.) Another son, Everett Elvin died young (<1yr
old).
