Dear Wright-L & Bert Webster,

Ref. Deacon Samuel Wright (ancestor of the Wright Brothers) and his parents.

There are many books that have his parents listed, I believe I have seen 4
sets of parents.

I have read all the arguments, and have spoken with the best of researchers
and there isn't any "proof", just speculation and conjecture.

The aren't any records that can be found on where Dea. Samuel Wright came
from (ship logs, etc.). He just suddenly appeared in Springfield, MA about
1638, where he was on a jury and owner of property.

So, genealogists have looked to see who his parents *could be* in England
and have only speculated on who they think it could be. And the arguments
are highly controversial.

I just wanted to caution people that there isn't any proof on who is parents
are.
