Alice Vilette Wright was born 1857 in Paris, PA (Ohio according to one
census) and married ca 1882 in Indiana. Her husband was Joseph Marlo
Giesinger of DeKalb Co. IN. (1880 census). They are listed on the 1900
Kosciusko Co. IN census.

page 6 has the following:
Joseph Marlow Geisinger, 86, died Saturday morning at 1:00 at the
home of his daughter Mrs. Ralph Menges, 201 Masterson avenue. He was
born in Spencerville but had been a resident of Fort Wayne for the past
four months. Mr. Geisinger was a carpenter contractor and was a Veteran
of the Civil War, serving in company M. of the Fifth Indiana cavalry.
Surviving is one son, Ulysses of Hesperia, Mich.; seven daughters, Mrs.
Menges, of this city; Mrs. Caroline Bubb, of Toledo; Mrs. Dell Pifer of
Lansing Mich.; Mrs Sylvia Elingham, of Pleasant Lake; Mrs. Carl Smith,
of Vicksburg, Mich.; Mrs. Nellie Warner and Mrs. Joe King, of Auburn;
one brother, John of Garrett and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Babbs, of
Garrett. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the house of
Mrs. Menges, Rev. Morris M. Himler officiating.

The News Sentinel, :UL] of Fort Wayne, July 2, 1927 page 22 gives
much of the same information, but does add that Joseph served in the
19th Regiment during the Civil War.
I have been looking for Alice's parents for years, but live in Florida
and have few opportunities to do research in Indiana. Any help will be
greatly appreciated.
