I am searching for the origins of James and John Wright prior to their
appearance in Augusta County, VA records in about 1740. They seem to have
come from the NJ-DEL-PA-MD area. James was born about 1686 and died in VA in
about 1745. His son James, who married Lydia (maiden name unknown), was born
about 1710 and died in VA in 1762. Lydia and several of her children were
among the earliest settlers in what became Washington County, PA. Is there
anything in the book, "400 Years of Wrights" that would provide some answers?
