Hello all, I know that I have posted before, but here it goes again....

This is what I have:
1. George J. Forbes/Forbis, b. Jan. 13, 1813 in North Carolina married Nancy
Allen Headen (daughter of Samuel Headen and Lydia Bush), b. abt. 1804 in
Franklin County, GA. Their  children were:
           1. Green Bush Forbes/Forbis, b. February 9, 1839 in Homer, Banks
County
married Mary Ann Cantrell in 1857, Banks County, GA
           2. Thomas V. Forbes/Forbis, b, 1841 in Banks County, GA
           3. Mary Elizabeth Forbes/Forbis, (my gggrandmother), b. August 21,
1847-
50.(depending on which census you use) in Homer, Banks County,
GA.
She married Unknown Berry/Berryman prior to 1878.
               These were their children:
                           i. George Jackson Berry, (my ggrandfather) July
22, 1876, in
                               Atlanta, Fulton County, GA.
ii. Thomas "Eugene" Berry, b. March 8, 1878 in NY
(apparently
I am told that Mary and Unknown Berry/Berryman
traveled a lot
for his business between NY and GA)
iii. Allie J. Berry, b. between 1880-84 in Atlanta,
GA.

I find my gggrandmother, Mary E. Berry in the 1880 census listed as
a widow with George Jackson Berry and Eugene Berry (Thomas). We are a bit
confused about who Allie's real father is. Her last name was Berry prior to
her marriage, but all records for her age point to her being born in
1884...long after Unknown Berry/Berryman's death. Mary remarried to a William
Wright and had four more boys, Paul, b. 1885; Elmer, b. 1888; William, b.
1890; and Van Buren, b. 1891. We believe that Mary had several children that
did not survive very long as well.
I do know that Mary inherited some land in Atlanta, from her husband,
unknown Berry/Berryman after he died. She was forced to sell it by her
husband William Wright. I am really looking for the name of my UNknown
Berry/Berryman! Any help or information you should locate regarding this
Forbes/Forbis family in Banks County, would be greatly appreciated! He has
been a roadblock for my family for many years!!! :)
