Hi to all:
I have been interested in the history on James MORGAN who was the father of
Barbara Morgan Wright, w/o Benjamin Wright, Sr. Benjamin was a Rev War
soldier, and it appears that James Morgan was also.. I have a copy of a DAR
application on him, but it doesn't give a full list of his children..
particularly for my interest, it doesn't list a Barbara!!!

Someone on this list, sorry I don't recall your name, sent me some details on
this James Morgan. He signed many papers for the Wright family and is said
to be the father of Barbara, the 1st wife of Benjamin. I believe that
Benjamin Wright married her sister after her death.. all in NC. Benjamin
Wright and 2nd wife came to Indiana along with several of his children.
Benjamin is buried near Indianapolis.

I would like to know can anyone document that James and wife (given as Mary
Davis.. ???? ) were the parents of Barbara Morgan and her sister. Also when
and where did he die? What county did he live in in North Carolina? Can
anyone verify his Rev War patriotism?
