Hi Zoe, This is Bea. With reference to the names of the 9 children of
Lancelot Wright born ca 1815 Orange Co., VA, they are:

Sarah 12, AL
Emily, 10, AL
Sevron? (illegible male), 8, AL
Ellen, 6, AL
Lancelot, 4, AL
Alabama, 2, AL
The father of Lancelot Wright was Dabney Wright and his mother was Sally
Bell. The siblings of Lancelot were, Dabney Wright Jr., Sarah Elizabeth
Wright, Mahaley Wright. I am not sure of the order of birth, however, this
is the order in which they were listed in a court case, with Lancelot being
first. I am descended from Dabney and his second wife, Matilda Carpenter.
The 1860 census lists his wfe as Emily and I have not checked into Emily very
much but I am told that familysearch.com has an entry that says Lancelot died
in 1861 in Tallapoosa Co AL and Emily was a Vaughn. Ancestory.com has an
entry that says Lancelot died in 1861 in Tallapoosa Co AL and Emily Vaughn
were married in Tallapoosa Co in 1849. The 1860 census shows 4 children born
prior to 1849 and lists Emily and oldest child as being born in GA.
Ancestory.com says that Emily's parents were James Vaughn and Sarah Paige,
both born in VA.
