Hi Joanne.......Thanks for that census info on Mongs. I really appreciate
it. Don't know why I didn't find that one at library when checking.
I wonder if this George Mong from Census of 1880 is son of George b1774
from Washington County, MD (per Ancestor File) He died Feb 1835 in
Martinsburg. Supposedly married a Cathy Mong(?) in 1796. I found this info
online at the LDS site last night. I'm still trying to figure out why they
all went to Berkley County, WVA from Maryland. My John Zorn supposedly was
born in Maryland too in 1795 (per IGI).
If there are any Mong or Zorn descendants reading this, I would like
very much to hear from you. Thanks Carol Klosterman

The 1880 census for Berkeley Co. has the following on MONG:

Martinsburg (town) dwel. 58
MONG, George, age 76, laborer, b. VA
Eliza, age 77, wife
