I'm looking for the families that Peter and Nancy Ann came from. They
moved from Virginia sometime before 1832, as Saran Ann was born in Ohio.
>From there the moved on to Missouri by 1842 when Martha Jane was born.
Peter might have had a brother Henry and/or his father might have been
Micheal, but no proof has been found for either.

1. Peter COURTNEY was born in 1802 in Berkeley Co. Virginia. He was
christened in 1850 in Adair Co., Missouri. He died in 1874 in Adair Co.,
Missouri. Drowned crossing Chariton river on ferry boat he operated,
during an ice jam on the river that winter. Body never found. He was a
Farmer.

He was married to Nancy Ann WISENBERGER. Nancy Ann WISENBERGER was born
in 1806 in Virginia. She died in 1880. Peter COURTNEY and Nancy Ann
WISENBERGER had the following children:

+5iv.Mary Elizabeth COURTNEY.
6v.Marion J COURTNEY was born in 1838 in Ohio.

+9viii.James Campbell COURTNEY.
+10ix.Joathon F. COURTNEY.
