Searching for KEYS [variations] + CORK, FRESHOUR & STURM/STORM
in Berkeley, Morgan & Harrison Counties in 1775-1825.

Jesse "Edward" KEYS was born in 1801 in VA, we believe. He marr. Susannah
CORK/Caulk in Clarksburg, Harrison Co., WVa on 1 Sept. 1825. Susan's parents
were George W. CORK & Susannah FRESHOUR. Susannah CORK was born
ca 1800 along Sleepy Creek, now Morgan Co., WV.

We have not been able to trace the KEYS lineage beyond Jesse "Edward" Keys'
marriage to Susannah Cork/Caulk. It's possible that his father's name was
KEY or KEYES, and they may have migrated to WVa from VA, or MD. Info handed
down
in the family is that the surname may have been McKEYS in Scotland. Edward's
parents may have been Jesse Edward Keys [variation] & Susan STURM/Storm[s].
