The Martinsburg Library has R.L. Polk's Martinsburg City Directory from
1913-date, which lists name, address, telephone and occupation of city
residents. They also have Cumberland Valley Railroad Directory, 1877-78, containing a
general directory of the citizens of Martinsburg, WV and Thompson Brothers'
directory of Martinsburg, 1898-99; lists name, address, and occupation of town
residents.
The Berkeley County Historical Society has a very limited collection of
the R.L. Polk directories. I think the earliest is in the 1930s.
