It has been brought to my attention that there is going to be a book out
soon on the history of Weirton. I've also been asked about county
historians and persons who might be interested in helping to do another
150th anniversary book on our little county. Will post the details soon as
I get them. Watch the publications page for Brooke/Hancock counties and I
will post the information on the History of Weirton book there.

Kathy, Haven't forgotten the list I Promised you and was able to open your
file finally. Will get it off in the next day or so.

It's been awhile since we posted our surnames and I know that we have some
new members. Would be great to hear how you are all coming on your
research and refreshed on the names that everyone is searching.

Also, Gwen has volunteered to do arm chair research for Brooke in the books
