Surname: FISH, MCMASTER, MCMASTERS

I am seeking information on the William MCMASTERS who was living in the
Western district of Brooke co., VA, during the 1820 census. I just came
across the transcribed information for that census on this web site, and
I believe this William MCMASTERS is the father of my 3rd great-grandfather,
William (A.?) MCMASTER. Living in that household were: 1 male 45+ (this
should be the father, William MCMASTERS); 1 male 16-26 (this should be
my William who was 18 at that time); 1 male 10-16; 1 female 45+; and 4
females 10-16. If anyone knows who these other people are in this census,
I would love to hear from you!
As to my William (A.?) MCMASTER, he was b. 10 Dec., 1801, in Westmoreland
co., PA, but according to his obituary he grew-up in Brooke co., VA. He
married Ruth Ann FISH, dau. of Reeder & Susanna F. (Clayton) FISH, about
1840. (Don't know where.) They moved around a lot and eventually settled
in Jefferson co., IA, where William died on 28 Aug., 1883. William & Ruth
Ann had 9 children: William Reader, John Hanes, Benjamin Clayton, Mary
Jane, James McDowell, Susannah Clayton, Anderson Fremont, Jackson Fish,
and Abraham Lincoln MCMASTER. (Some of these names are FISH family names,
and I'm hoping that others are MCMASTER(S) family names that will ring
a bell with someone!)
If anyone can help give me some leads on this MCMASTERS family of Brooke
county, I would GREATLY appreciate it:-)
