Brooke County Marriage's by Elopement
To a Genealogicial Angel:
Perhaps you may help me.
My Grandparents eloped from Pittsburgh to be married and I connot locate
a marraige certificate. I have tried Alleghney Co Pa, Pittsburgh Pa, and
Wheeling WV.
Someone told me that many early 1900-1920 marriages occured in Brooke Co
in either Follansbee or Wellsburg.
His name was Dale T Kiser and he married Helen Catherine Fyfe.
They were married in 1910-1911, their first child was born in 1911.
I'd be grateful for any assistence or advice you may be able to give.
I've been able to trace Helen-Cate fairly well but my Gfather deserted
the family with 5 children and I 'm having difficulty finding him.
