ALBERT THOBURN LUCAS Weirton

LUCAS, ALBERT BABE THORBURN, 80, of Blue Ridge manor, Wellsburg, WV, died Monday, March 12, 2001, in Weirton Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1914, in Belmont County, Ohio, a son of the late Albert Maywood Lucas and Eunice Brown Lucas. He was a retired musician nationally and self-employed working with several circus tours and was in the Tweetie Brothers Band that played the Capitol Music Hall, Wheeling, WV. He was also a Protestant and an Army Veteran. IN addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Mayward Lucas, Newell Lucas,

Solon Lucas, Michael Lucas and Lawson Lucas; two sisters, Nettie Kemp and Mazella Bore and several infant sisters. Surviving are several nieces and nephews and including his caregivers, Ray Kemp of Wellsburg and Margaret Tootsie Jackson of Akron, Oh. Arrangements made by Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV. Interment in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV. Full military graveside services will be held by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
