Well, the formatting got screwed up but hopefully you can figure it out. E-mail me directly at if I can answer any questions, I do have documentation for much of this line.

As far as I can tell, Stephen & wife Elizabeth came to the US in 1805, and he worked as a shoemaker in Philadelphia for a few years before moving to WV and taking up farming.

I am descended from one of the daughters of William (who moved to LaSalle Co., IL), and have access to lots of information from LaSalle Co., since I grew up there and still have family there. They have a fabulous Genealogy Guild in Ottawa.
