Sure--James Amberson and Peter Parchment were brothers-in-law. James is my G5grandfather. Peter had a brother Phillip Parchment/Parchman. Phillips' daughter Elizabeth Parchman married James Amberson Jr. One of James Sr's daughters married a son of Peter. One of Peter's daughters married a son of James Sr. James Jr. is my branch. James Sr pioneered Butler Co., Pa., d there in 1812. His brother William Amberson pioneered Allegheny and Mercer County, Pa., died there in 1838. James Sr was the Indian Fighter. William was a Judge and store owner--different personalities:>)) James was a Pvt in the 13th Va. Regmt, William was a Lieut. in the 8th Pa. Regmt. Revolution.
