So now that we're getting a few more people on the list... is there
anyone out there besides Van who has a connection to James Snider (m.
Dorothy Childers around 1910-ish) son of Jacob Snider.. Son of Jacob
Snider?

James' daughter Helen Gertrude Snider Powell was my grandmother. She
was born in West Union. She had a brother Delbert Durward Snider, and a
sister Vella Snider Boggs (who moved to Az. is this one related to you
Van?). James died in 1924. James had several siblings, but the only
ones I know off the top of my head (I'm at work) is Mordecai Smith
"Uncle Mord" and Iva Snider Swisher "Aunt Ivy", both lived in Doddridge
till their deaths. Iva Swisher had several children, I'll post a
followup later with their names.

I'm trying to get past the Jacob Snider wall, as well as collect Snider
info from Doddriddge. Thanks!
