Goodson and I live in Harrisonburg, VA. I am looking for information on
a few of my ancestors who were thought to live in your county in the
1800s. There names are: Charles or Charley Taylor, who was a
confederate soldier. George Washington Taylor and his wife Laveanie? (I
am not sure of the spelling of "Laveanie"). They had a son Matthew
Henry Taylor (3/22/1861-7/8/1925). Also there may be 2 daughters, Mrs.
H.J. Hahn (wife of Mayor of Covington, VA), and Mrs. H. H. Cash. I have
1880 Census from Greenbrier County and think I have found some info
there.
