William Franklin Dunn was born 1817 in Greenbrier the son of George Dunn and
Elizabeth Williams daughter of Hughey Williams of Nicholas County, VA.
William was the oldest of 11 children 9 sons and 2 daughters. George and
Elizabeth were married 1816 and William was born October 20th 1817. George
was born 1793 and Elizabeth 1800. George was the son of William Dunn,
(William F. Dunn's grandfather). I found all this info in a book labeled
"History of Callaway County" Missouri. Does any of this sound familiar to
you? Contact me and I will gladly pass on whatever info I can.
