This is from ABSTRACTS OF LAND GRANT SURVEYS 1761-1791, Peter Cline

These surveys were of land in Augusta and Rockingham Counties, but note
from
some of them they ended up in other counties.
Book 0-1 p. 28 - Andrew Bird, grant for 150 acres on Smith Creek, Feb. 7,
1763.
Same book, p. 56 - Andrew Bird, John Phillips, John Poage, John McAnelly,
Thomas George, John Phillips Jr., and James Daubin, grant of 1500 a.
South
River, both sides of the Rockfish Gap Road. March 26, 1766.
Same Book, p. 154 - Andrew Byrd, 270 acres between Mathew Harrisons and
Millsaps lines. June 5, 1769.
Book O, p. 16 - Ludwick Circle, 220 a. West side of Smith'ls Creek,
adjoining
Birds, Moore, crossing a Road, Coxes land, Feb. 7, 1782.
Book 0, p. 35 - Michael Rader, assignee of Andrew Hudlow, 84 a. adjoining
Lewis Circle and Andrew 'Bird, May 15, 1783.
Book O, p. 52 - Henry Selzer, 125 a. adj. Ekerly, White, Polser,
Harrison,
Andrew Bird, McDowel and Sehorn. April 25, 1785.
Book O, p. 90 - Thomas Moore, 227 a. between Smith's Creek and Long
Meadows.
Adj. Sircle (Zircle) Springer, Marches (Martz), Hooft, Bird, in
consequence
of an entry made by Moor, Nov. 30, 1776..Jan. 20, 1791.
Also, three references to Abraham Bird.
There is also a John Reddle, but index says "see Riddle."
