I did find a Campbell , the founder of Bethany College in Brooks Co..It
was founded in 1840. I did send a resumes on Alexander Searight to the
college, but got no reply. He own a fuller mill near Bethany, WV around
1810. I guess the records are forever gone and lost. Jim

Does anyone have any knowledge of a George Campbell who had a
daughter named Tibitha (Tabitha) Burnet?
In the Brooke County will of James Campbell, dated 6 Feb. 1804, James
Campbell leaves her twenty five pounds, Pennsylvania money. She is mentioned
last after all the sons and daughters are accounted for. George Campbell is
not a son of James, but could be a brother or cousin....
Any information would be appreciated.
