Death Notice

William Howard McLaughlin Sr., 40 of RD 1 New Cumberland, WV died Friday June 10, 1955, at 3 pm while at work at Lock 9 in New Cumberland, Hancock Co., WV.
He had been employed there for 15 years.
He was born in New Cumberland on December 30, 1914.
He was the son of the late
George McLaughlin & Elizabeth (Baker) McLaughlin.
He attended Trinity Methodist Church.
He was a member of the AF & AM 22 Masons and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He served in World War II from 1942 until 1945.
He is survived by
his widow;
Clara Virginia (Vincent) McLaughlin
2 daughters;
Karen Lee McLaughlin at home
Elizabeth Mae McLaughlin at home
1 son;
William Howard McLaughlin Jr. at home
2 brothers;
George L. Mc Laughlin of New Cumberland, Hancock Co., WV
Robert C. McLaughlin of Huntington, Cabell Co., WV
Services will be conducted in his home
Rev. Kenneth Fordyce will officiate.
Masonic services will follow.
Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Pughtown, Hancock Co., WV
