This deed made this twenty fifth (25) day of March, year of our Lord one thousand eight hudnred and eighty two (1882) between John W. FLOWERS and Mary A. FLOWERS of New Cumberland Hancock County State of West Virginia of the first part and Ezra G. RICHARDSON of New Cumberland Hancock County, State of West Virginia of the second part, Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of four hundred dolloars ($400.00) the parties of the first part do grant unto the party of the second part the following described property to wit: the undivided half of lot of ground, with the smith-shop thereon, situated in Campbell's Additions to New Cumberland, Hancock County, West Virginia, known on said plat of town, as lot no. 32, Bounded as follows; on the North by lot no. 31 on the East by undivided half of same lot no. 32, and Grafton Alley on the south by Madison street and west by Chester Street to have and to hold said half of lot no. 32, to the part of the second part forever. arties of the first part hereby covenant to warrant generally said half lot to the party of the second part. Witness the following signatures and seals.

I John CAMPBELL a Justice of said County do hereby certify that John W. FLOWERS and Mary A. FLOWERS whose names are signed to the writing hereto annexed bearing date on the 25 day of March A.D. 1882 peronsally appeared before me this 31st day of March 1882 and acknowledged the same. And the said Mary A. FLOWERS wife of the said John A. FLOWERS being by me examined privily and apart from her said husband and having said writing explained to her she the said Mary A. FLOWERS declared that she had willingly signed the said writing for the purpose contained therein and wished not to retract it.
