Had to chuckle when I read this post. My dad always said, he had to marry my mother, (who lived on the West Virginia side of the bridge, and he lived on the Ohio side) because he couldn't afford the toll....at that time...ten cents. Ha Ha

As an addition to my earlier message.....East Liverpool, Ohio is in Columbiana County. East Liverpool, Ohio is on one side of the Newell toll bridge, and WV is on the other side.
