According to some sources, Samuel Winter, son of Christopher and Catherine Winter of the Dutch Fork Settlement, Donegal Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, moved to Hancock County(then part of Brooke County) in 1823 with his wife Catherine and their children.
I cannot find any records of Samuel and his family in Hancock County. Can anyone help?
