Greg:

Forgive me for not sticking to the mainstream of genealogy! But, genealogy
was, is & will always be about family. I have 2 children, ages 7 & 10 &
Halloween is right around the corner. They don't need to hear about Anthrax.
We try to monitor their TV at home but they do discuss current events in
school & hear things from their peers.

Genealogy is not only about ancestors of 2 centuries past. Most of us play
this game because of our children. We want them to know their heritage. How a
current event, & the media's coverage of such, is shaping their lives is the
genealogy of tomorrow.

My intent is not to flame here. It is only to apologize & explain. I guess my
definition of genealogy is different from yours.
