Portland, MI--Kenneth M. Click, age 67, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and teammate passed away suddenly June 21, 2003, at his home. He was born 21 June 2003 in Mount Alto, West Virginia. He was the son of Cecil and Dora Sayre Click (Bailey). Ken was a member of the Portland United Methodist Church, and a graduate of both Central Michigan University and Michigan State University. He retired in 1995 from Ionia County Intermediate School District with 30 years of service. He was an avid sports fan, and was a member of the Michigan Sports Sages, and was a long time area coach ot many. He spent his winters in Florida in order to play softball and other sports. He leaves friends to morn their loss all over the United States. He enjoyed antique cars, golf, woodworking and especially baseball. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil, and a baby sister, Rosalie. Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Virginia; son, Troy and daughter-in-law, Lou Ann Click of Portal!
and; daughter and son in law--Kendra and Steven Sonday of Portland. Grandchildren: Andrew and Rachel Click. Mother Dora Bailey of Portland; half-brother, Ted (Joann) Click; half-ssiters, Barbara (Roger) Dimit; Linda Berry; Kathryn (Les) McBride; Christiane Delane and Patty (Oak) Phillips; brother-in-law, IKenny (Ginny) Christensen; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral:; Tuesday, June 24, 2003. Interment at Portland Cemetery. Submitted by Alice Click.
