Some researchers believe that Peter Shields, Jr had two wives and that Rachel Donoho was a seond wife and had been previously married and her name may have been Hefner.

Do you have anything about Rachel and where she is buried at? I am trying to tie her into the family history and nobody seems to know where she is buried. I know Peter is buried in Wathena, Kansas. Thank you for your help. Robyn

I copied this from info posted at another site but didn't note who Robyn was....does this help at all......sorry there isn't more...I do have Peter and Rachel in my database with children but don't have much info on the family as a whole......perhaps you may have more to offer also....I did have that William also died in Wathena, Kansas, if this helps....probably from the same source....
