Norma Jean Henegar Snuffer, 75, of Ravenswood, WV, departed this life on May 5, 2004, at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston, WV.

She was born on October 5, 1928, in Copperston, WV, daughter of the late Ancil T. and Aline Smiddy Henegar. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She retired as a bookkeeper with the Operating Engineers, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood where she was a member of the choir.

Surviving is her husband, Robert E. Snuffer, Ravenswood, WV; daughters, Patricia M. Amos and her husband James, Beckley, WV; Susan A. Griffith and her husband Duane, Cairo, WV; and Barbara A. Duranti and her husband James, Ravenswood; sister, Peggy Cisco, Parkersburg, WV; grandchildren, Kerensa Gore, Shanna McCloy, Sheryl Lyons Hicks, Eric E. and Evann Duranti; and great grandchildren, Christopher Hicks, Jonathan Hicks, and Jordon S. Lyons.

Services were held on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church, Ravenswood, with Pastor S. R. Parsons, Jr., officiating. Burial followed in the Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends visited Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, on Friday, May 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
