Galen Wade "Doc" Roush, 70, of Ravenswood, WV, departed this life on May 13, 2004, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV.

He was born on September 19, 1933, in Ravenswood, son of the late Chester Dale and Frankie Forrest Doherty Roush. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving is his brother, Earl Lewis Roush, Pomeroy, Ohio; sisters, Leah Ann Roush Bibbee, Ravenswood; and Blanche E. Roush, Ravenswood; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, May 20, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at Ravenswood Cemetery, with Military Graveside Rites provided by the Ravenswood VFW Post 6669. Pastor Bobby Dean Bibbee officiated. There was no visitation.
