I came across your entries in rootsweb.com and replied directly to you (as this is five years after your original post). I can fill in a few blanks on the Meeker family if you're still looking. My husband's grandmother, Isabel Rildy Meeker, married David Baker and moved to Michigan -- near Leslie, which is perhaps why your Birdie came to the area. Would love to learn more about Birdie and her family; I'm also happy to share what little information I have. Susan Dietz
