BESSIE A. YOUNG Born: November 20, 1899; Died: February 11, 1986; Age:
86 years, 2 months and 22 days. Funeral services will be at the Koontz
Funeral Home, Hamlin, W. Va., Friday, February 14, 1986 at 11:00 o'clock
a. m. with Reverend J. W. Burch officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln
Memorial Park, Hamlin, W. Va. She was a daughter of the late Milton and
Cora Stowers Adkins; the widow of Orie Young, Sr.; and was a member of
the Hamlin Baptist Church, Hamlin, WV. Surviving: 1 son; Orie Young, Jr.;
3 brothers: Grady Adkins, Robert Adkins and Milton Adkins, Jr.; 2 sisters:
Lillian Duncan and Shermia Lee Jeffers; 3 grandchildren: Leslie Shirley,
Sandra Nusbaum, and Patricia Mattes; and 6 great grandchildren.
