Well, personally, having just spent 2 sleepless nights on wondering how to do this myself,
I woke up at 5:30 this morning with the answer. I have an older version of PAF, which
limits me greatly. While I can not speak on the performance of other family tree type
programs and the way they do Ged's, I only know what I've experienced. I ended up
"printing" cascading pedigree and family group charts to disk, and then opened it with my
word processor no problem. I found opening the GED with Word, there was far too much
cleaning up to do. Well, that's my 2 cents worth. :-)
