My name is Hassel Browning, my mother was Ardelia "Deal" Jeffrey. I
think you are in the Esther and Walter Aleshire line from Hewett,W.Va.
I'm sorry that I cant help you with the Walls line but maybe we can
exchange some info. on the Jeffrey- Elkins line.
My records indicate Anna Elkins was born 22 July,1866 at Hewett,she died
17 feb.1944 also at Hewett. My question is, was she married before she
married Botty? or did she have children (Twins and they died)
Do you know that you can buy a book from the Boone County Genealogical
Society that has a chapter on the Jeffrey Family? It has 29 pages of Jeffrey
history dealing with the birth of the name in Scandinavian countries through
the Botty Jeffrey generation. Including the children of both marriages of
Botty.
