Ed, I think we may be related. There's that strange, quirky gene
that shows up on our family's DNA strands too, characterized by a
deliciously ornery sense of humor.
I have to admit, the guy makes a lot of sense. Which tells you
more about me than him, if he was only kidding. Now, taking Ed's
propsal to the next logical step here, we develop an
alpha-numerical code for names, based on the World War II
unbreakable code, written in Navajo. Linda and Carlisle and
Vernon and a few more trusted Marshco folks hold the cipher keys,
and we get volunteers to re-edit all the information on the site,
using the new alpha-numerical codes instead of names. (Everyone
has to edit their own databases, however, changing the names to
numbers, etc. To those whose dues are up to date, we provide a
simple macro which handles the changes automatically, if you can
speak Navajo.)
Then, we... (where you getting this "we" stuff, Jim-Bob?) we SELL
the code to FTM, LDS, CIA, whatever. As soon as THEY publish a
new CD, we CHANGE the code! The we resell the key, etc., etc.,
etc. We could call ourselves, say, BroaderBurn Publishing, or
something, a division of MarshCo, a wholly owned subsidiary of
WVMARSHA, now selling at 19 5/8 on the NASDAC, so get in early,
before we split three for one.
Sorry, gotta go now. It's time for my medicine...
