Here is what I sent to Grace:

I know there is a Grape Island in Pleasants County, about 3 miles north of
St. Marys. If there is one in Marshall County, I don't know about it.

In the 1880 Pleasants census that I am currently typing, I see Thomas
Baylis, 55, a boarder, living with Hugh R. Bailey. He is listed as
married....and a miner.

In 1900, I see a William T. Bayless, born Jan 1822, age 78, married 50 years
living in the Poor House. (Maybe the T. is for Thomas)

In the Pleasants County marriages, I see Thomas W. Baylis, 62, married
Lucinda Barker, 28, 24 May 1885.
