Hi, Everyone:

The long-awaited dinner at Undo's is less than 3 weeks away. I hope those of
you who are coming are looking forward to it as much as I am.

As you know, I haven't lived in Marshall County for nearly 30 years.
Therefore, I am not the most qualified person to be giving directions.
Would someone from Marshall County PLEASE write a message to the List with
the directions to Undo's Restaurant and, also, describe where Benwood is in
relation to I-70.

AND, can someone tell us about campgrounds in the vicinity? AND motels. Is
there any motel in Benwood, Glen Dale or Moundsville? Would someone please
call and see about the rates and the availability and let me know. (THANKS!)

The updated list of attendees for the dinner is on the Virtual Society page
and I hope that all who are listed are still planning to come. If your plans
change, please let me know.

There is a small glitch with our arrangements at Undo's.... We were told we
could order from the menu and each get separate checks with the 20% gratuity
added. Apparently they have never had 60 in the Blue Room before and we are
going to have to order from a limited menu. This doesn't bother me; I can
understand their position. I am certain we will be pleased with the service
and the food.

I would guess that the dress code is pretty casual. Probably anything from
jeans to dress slacks will do...Just be comfortable! Remember we can have
the room until midnight and will have a cake after the dinner. People who
want to come by after the dinner are welcome but I would like to know who
plans to do that.

As I mentioned earlier, I have asked Jim Wiley to be our MC. I don't know
yet exactly how this will unfold but there won't be any lengthy program. If
you would like to speak to the group at the dinner, please let me know. If
anyone wants to play some WV music, maybe that could be done, too.

I am driving from LA to WV by myself and will be there by the 12th.

I think that is it for now.
