LEWIS ANTILL OF CAMERON IS TAKEN BY DEATH
November 05, 1945

Lewis Antill, prominent business man engaged in the lumber and building material business, succumbed at his home on High Street in that city Monday at 7:10 PM. He was a native of Marshall County and was born May 16, 1866, a son of Asberry and Sally King Antill.

Mr. Antill was a member of the Christian Church and the Comrade Bible Class. He was married on February 12, 1888 to Miss Cassie Rush and to this union was born six children: Mrs. Albert (Eva) Tedrow; Mrs. Walter (Orpha) Strait; Dauphis Antill; Ward Antill, Perry Antill; and Fred Antill, all of Cameron: a brother, A. K. Antill, of Cameron; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The remains will be returned Wednesday morning to his home from Antill Funeral Home. Breif services will be held at the residence on Thursday at 1:30 o'clock. Officiating will be A.R. Baer of the U.B. Church and Rev. Roy Silverthorn of the Christian Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
