I believe that is the name that Patty is looking for. I live in St. Albans,
so I will be coming down 35 and then crossing the bridge. Through Eleonor,
Buffalo, etc. I figured I would run into Leon eventually.
However, is it better to go on down 35 now and cross the Buffalo Bridge?
I have been researching the Poston's and Skinner's in Mason County. They are
on the Winfield side of the river mostly. My great-grandfather owned about
500 acres out Plantation Road. I have visited the Mt.Union United Methodist
Cemetery there.
I told Patty that I would try to go to Leon and research for her. If I get
to go, Patty, I will take pictures. I took pictures of the headstones of
many of my relatives when I went down there.
I live in Kanawha County, go to church in Putnam County, so I just hop down
to Mason County on Sunday afternoons sometimes. I love it.
I would love further directions though. From the topo map, it appears that
the cemetery is kind of close to the river? Thanks.
