Bill:
I don't have two marriages for my g-g-grandfather Henry Fleek. I have
attached an obituary for one of his son's Alfred "Ben" Fleek that states
Ben's parents were Henry Fleek and Rebecca McKenney. I also have seen her
name spelled McKinney. In Henry's obituary, it doesn't state his wife's
name. It just says that he remained in West Virginia until after his
marriage and that he and his bride moved to Wisconsin. I have copied his
obit. in below Ben's so you can read what it has. You will notice that it
doesn't list a daughter Christiana.

I do have a Dennis Daniels marrying a Harriet Fleek on Jan. 25, 1849.
Harriet is the daughter of Henry Fleek born Jan. 27, 1780 in Penn., date of
death, Dec. 9, 1866, in Mineral County, W. Va. I show Nancy Spencer born
Sept. 179, date of death May 4, 1866. No locations, but I suspect they died
in what is now Mineral County. I don't have any details on Dennis and
Harriet, such as children, etc.

Now, I am wondering if "your" Henry Fleek is a different Henry that "mine."
That family used and reused names. That is why I am having trouble
determining definitively who Henry Fleek's (born Sept. 1820) father is.

Let me know what you think of all of this -- and of course, I would be
interested if any of the others on the list have info./ideas.

Thanks, Kay
