Linda ____ <> is looking for Philip Davis who m. Catherine Smith. She also has info on Henry Davis & Catherine Malady of WV.
Barbara Hoehn, <> is also searching for this Davis family.
Pamela McAteer, <> is looking for Daniel Davis apparent father of Henry Davis.
I am looking for Abel Davis who m. Mary and had Philip H. Davis who m. Catherine Smith. Philip H. Davis was a brother of John Davis [1800-1882] (my g3 grandfather) who m. Mary Elizabeth "Isabella" Newland and in the 1880 census of White Co., IN noted that his father was b. in MD and mother in PA.

The 1810 census of Monongalia Co. VA includes 19 Davis families all found is SNDX ( which I am guessing refers to a particular census district) D 120. Looks as if it's time to compare notes. If you are interested please write to me direct. Thanks, Joe Williams <>
