In answer to your Question: "Who is W.C. Riner"
William C. Riner is the son of Simeon Riner and Polly Mary (Mary Polly?)
Thompson. He was born November 17 1820 and died July 8 1895. Rumer has it that
he was born in Bath or Orange Co. Virginia?.
married 3 X's
(1) Mary Elizabeth Gwinn b. June 2 1814 d. after 1870
(2)Lucy B.R. Shanklin b. about 1839
(3) Sarah Green b. about 1848 on February 14 1894
Mary or Sarah were nicknamed Celia but I can't tell which one from the
original tree done in the 1940's.
William's brother Samuel Watson Riner is my direct descendant.
What do you have on "W.C. Riner" as the above is all I have on him. I have no
children or bio's of any kind and would like to have anything I can get hold
of on any Riner descended from John and Lydia Riner.
