I see what great work you do..so I thought I would ask..
=======================================================================
My grandfather (Lawrence Case) father ( Butler Case, Braxton County) father
(William Case, 1869, not sure if this is death or birth, Wife name Rhummia
Died 1/3/1946) was in the civil war..he died on his way home and was buried
at Webster Springs...my uncle has found the grave..
I need more information about him and them...I have hit a block wall.. I
undersand that there was a metal given to one of the Case but would like to
know more and who...also looking for his parents...etc...

I've done a lookup in the "Tattered Uniforms and Bright Bayonets" Civil War
West Virignia Veterans book by Jack Dickinson. I found one John W Case who
was a resident of Pocahontas County VA. He was in the 14th Virginia Cavalry
Should anyone on our Pocahontas Mailing List know anything, write Betty OK.
