Pat, not my line, but I have a book by E.Edwin and wife Faye Fike, which may
be what you are seeking. Jane Evans married Bill Turner. No dates given
for either. She was the daughter of Abraham Evans and Mary (Polly) Burgess.
who live near Scheer, Grant Co. WV (now Hampshire Co. WV)
Abe and Polly were married by William Welch on 31 Oct. 1837.

There are two 1984 pictures of the Evans Homestead near Scherr, Grant
Co., WV. One can find Scherr at the junction of Rt. 42 and 93. Rosalie
