Trying to find out about a Frank HUFFMAN that died in 1931 in Putnam Co., WV.
He wrote a Will in 1921 and named his Wife Harriet, Sons Perry L. & Irvin as
well as Laura MCGREW & Fonta Virginia HUFFMAN.

I believe he may be related to my Great Great Grandfather Charles McClung
HUFFMAN [1826/Greenbrier(?) Co., VA- 1913/Roane Co., VA (State Asylum)] who
was married in Kanawha Co., VA in 1849 (marriage bond) to Amy JOHNSON (d/o of
William JOHNSON, JR. & Nancy SIMS of Kanawha Co.)].

Charles & Amy named three of their nine Children Franklin (my Great
Grandfather shot & killed as a police officer in Kanawha Co. in 1881),
(Commodore) Perry & (William) Irvin.

In the 1850 VA Census in Kanawha Co., VA there was a Perry (age 27 living
with his Family in the household of a Thomas HILL) & a Merryman HUFFMAN (age
26 with Family) & an Efhriam (age 54 with Family) all living next to each
other. All stated they had been born in VA.

Charles did not live in the same neighborhood with Perry, Merryman and
Ephriam. Charles did however live next door to a Phillip HUFFMAN [s/o Reuben
HUFFMAN & Caty HUFMAN (one F) of Greenbrier Co., VA. Phillip was age 50 &
with a Wife Lucy CURRAN of Greenbrier Co., VA (1840 VA Census info placed
them in Greenbrier) and several Children]. In later years Charles named three
of his Children after Phillip & Lucy's Children and one after Enos HUFFMAN of
Greenbrier Co., VA ,who I also think is related to Charles in some way.

I'm still trying to find who Charles' Siblings & Ancestors were and perhaps
this Frank HUFFMAN of Putnam is related. He may be a s/o a Farank HUFFMAN who
was a Brother of Charles.

Thank You.
