I'm interested in the discussion on John Ball and Nancy since I, too, am
descended from this couple through their son, Zechariah who married Mary
Erwin. I have seen Nancy's surname given as CHAPMAN, but more often as
DUNN and I've never seen any proof of which name is correct. Most
researchers just seem to choose one name or the other almost at random.
Has anyone seen any proof of her surname or is there any new evidence
